Roofing Superintendent

Main Responsibilities

Job Site & Production

• Daily presence on job sites; review plans and specifications before work begins.
• Maintain production pace: plan materials and equipment to maximize on-site efficiency.
• Verify work conforms to plans; report any discrepancy, extra, or credit to the project manager before acting.
• Resolve on-site issues.

Procurement & Logistics

• Calculate quantities and place orders with suppliers.
• Plan containers, trucks, and specialized equipment based on production needs.

Subcontractors

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on site; validate progress with the project manager for billing purposes.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with contracts.

Coordination

• Participate in progress meetings with project managers; provide accurate updates on progress, issues, and risks.
• Maintain a site log.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of the roofing industry;
• 5 years of experience on roofing renovation job sites;
• Experience managing subcontractors, reading plans and specifications, and working on institutional projects;
• Positive leadership and the ability to mobilize and engage teams.
