Sales Representative

Reporting to the President, the Sales Representative plays a key role in business development and client retention at Toiture Perreault. They identify and pursue opportunities across the commercial, industrial, and private markets, while rigorously managing their pipeline and coordinating closely with the estimating and operations teams. With strong technical knowledge of roofing products and building envelopes, they actively contribute to the estimating process—from on-site measurements through to cost assumption validation—ensuring every proposal aligns with operational reality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect new clients (property managers, general contractors, etc.);
  • Identify bid opportunities and coordinate their preparation with the estimating team;
  • Contribute to bid development: on-site measurements, plan reading, material take-offs, and cost assumption validation with the estimator;
  • Ensure alignment between submitted bids and operational execution capacity by anticipating technical complexity issues from the pricing stage;
  • Lead qualification meetings, site visits, and bid presentations;
  • Negotiate agreements within established parameters and follow up on opportunities;
  • Maintain proactive relationships with existing clients to generate recurring contracts;
  • Represent Toiture Perreault at networking events and industry association activities;
  • Keep the CRM rigorously up to date and produce periodic activity reports;
  • Gather client feedback and relay it to the operations team.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, roofing, building envelope, or a related sector;
  • Knowledge of the Québec commercial market (institutional, commercial, industrial);
  • Experience estimating roofing, building envelope, or specialty construction work (a strong asset);
  • Ability to read architectural plans and roofing technical specifications, take on-site measurements, and contribute to project pricing (required);
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset, comfortable with long sales cycles;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Fluent in French; functional bilingualism (French/English) is an asset;
  • Valid driver’s licence.
