Truck Driver – Class 3 or 1 (10-wheeler)

Driving and Transportation

• Operate a 10-wheeler truck (Class 3 or 1) safely and professionally.
• Manage deliveries and pickups of roofing materials (membranes, insulation, gravel, metal, tools, etc.).
• Plan routes and strictly adhere to delivery and site schedules.

Site Operations and Handling

• Load and secure cargo according to safety standards (straps, chains, tarps, etc.).
• Safely unload materials at job sites, including in traffic zones and active construction areas.
• Support site logistics as needed: truck positioning, traffic management, and unloading zone coordination.
• Transport and dispose of debris following proper procedures (ecocentres, containers, and authorized sites).

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 or 1 driver’s licence (Quebec).
• ASP Construction card (with WHMIS 2015).
• Apprentice or journeyman roofer competency card.
• Relevant experience as a Class 3 or 1 driver (ideally in construction/roofing).
• Ability to perform manual labor and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Inspection, Maintenance and Compliance

• Perform daily pre-trip safety inspections (brakes, tires, lighting, hydraulics, etc.).
• Complete all required documentation: inspection reports, delivery slips, logbooks, and worksheets.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulations (permits, registration, weight limits, load securement, etc.).

Roofer (as needed)

• Assist with installation and re-roofing projects for various systems (elastomeric membrane, TPO, EPDM, asphalt and gravel, etc.).
• Execute work according to plans, specifications, and company technical standards.
• Prepare surfaces, apply materials, and ensure proper roof waterproofing.
